I might be one of the first player to get the Fallen Specter levelled up to Level 3 where it gains Demoralise and Headwinds ability. With those debuffs, this guy sounds so strong and overpowered. **Right?**

I had played this card with Death team for almost 30 games and the win rate is pathetic, only like 1 or 2 wins. Death splinter is already the weakest at Diamond/Champions league and the Fallen Specter adds absolutely nothing to help Death. In fact, it is a pure waste of 2 mana if you ever use it in your team. 

## Why though?
At 6 Speed and 1 Health and magic attack, this card can hardly (or never) survive past the first round. We all know that Lord Ariantus is ever present in the higher league. Magic Reflect kills the Fallen Specter immediately and that guy has to always be one of the first to attack (6 speed). 

0 damage to LA, kills itself, wasting 2 mana.

My opponents must be laughing at me everytime they see the Fallen Specter.

I tried it out on many Ruleset, and none of them works. Let's analyze.

## Ruleset that doesn't work
- Keep your distance - Lord Ariantus will 100% be the tank
- Back to Basics - Without the debuffs ability, Fallen Specter is useless here
- Up close and personal - Can't use
- Fog of war - 99% sees a LA at the front
- Reverse speed - 95% expect a LA as tank
- Melee Mayhem - Sounds like the ideal ruleset to use Fallen Specter. But 99% your opponent is gonna use LA or Paladin. Life Splinter is too good for this. Pray and hope your opponent use the Fire and you might just have a chance.

## Ruleset that _might_ work
- Taking sides - Finally no Lord Ariantus! But expect Paladin or Haunted spirit
- Super Sneak - YES! With summoner debuff, Fallen Specter will add a -2 melee for your opponent! But still, chances to see a Paladin or LA as tank is still high. Your Fallen Specter is gonna die soon.
- Reverse Speed - GREAT! Fallen Specter will NOT attack first. But he will still not survive past the first round, because your opponent will use LA or Paladin. But if you face an Earth team, then hurray!
- Weak Magic|Armour up - Initially I thought this is the best ruleset for Fallen Specter to shine. However, didn't have much luck. I am always facing LA as tank. I thought this ruleset will allow my Fallen Specter to survive past the first round. But the reflected magic bypass the shield and hits health directly. **IS THIS A BUG??**
- Earthquake - Perhaps the only rule that Fallen Specter has no weakness to. With Flying, he can survive past the first round, only if not magic reflected. But honestly, who will ever use Death splinter in Earthquake???
- Little League - One of the rare chance where you can use a Legendary in Little League. But without a proper tank (the best is Animated Corpse), there is no chance for Death splinter here.
- Broken Arrow - 95% your opponent will use LA or Paladin as tank. Fallen Specter's Headwinds ability is useless without Ranged opponents. But Double Sneak is a popular choice for Broken Arrow, so your Fallen Specter Demoralise will be extremely useful here. Just pray and pray he doesn't die in the first round.

Seriously, this card is useless. Matt needs to do something about it. Either change it to a Ranged, or Sneak (like the Shin lo), or give it more health to **at least** survive one round.

Death Splinter is already my least used Splinter. I almost only use Death for Up close and personal. Fallen Specter is really a fail card for me so I am going to delegate to my gold level Heron, where Lord Ariantus is less frequently used there. Hopefully my player will find him useful.
