Good day ladies and gents! Today I got a chance to try out Stoop inbox. If you think newsletters are a great way to get curated content, but managing them is painful, then read along. Stoop is a thoughtfully designed newsletter subscription management app.

Now, let's look at the sign-up process -
First, you'll need to download the app from the links above. Once finished, open the app, and you'll land to this screen (I use an Android device)

The first thing to notice at this stage is that you have the option of previewing it, before you sign up. That is great option, because you don't have to trust the company. Check the app, before signing up, and see if you like it. I really liked this bit.
Next step is to create the account.

Enter your email address, choose a Stoop username. This will create a new inbox for you, which will allow all your subscriptions to flow into Stoop and let them all be managed and read in this app.
Next step is to set a password and with that you are all set to use the app.

The interface after signing up will look as follows -

You will not see all the above subscriptions. You will have one message from Stoop after your sign up, explaining how to find content.
For finding content, one needs to click on Unread (refer pic above) and it will open a menu bar -

A menu bar will open and the first step is to find content to read and watch. Click on Directory-

Based on your favourite topics, you can choose which content providers to subscribe to. If you scroll down on the Newsletter tab, after clicking directory, you'll get the option to browse based on topic -

Go back to the app by clicking on back arrow on top left of the screen.
I have subscribed to a few channels and I now want to get to my initial thoughts about the app. I like the whole interface. I personally like getting newsletters - seekingalpha, wsj, etoro, off the chain etc. However, managing them has always been difficult. First I don't think I want to get them on email anymore. More often than not, because a newsletter is in the middle of a bunch of marketing emails, I end up deleting a few of them. Having a well designed app like stoop with a clean interface, and having a separate inbox for newsletters just makes managing them very easy for me.
The sign-up process is super simple. Browsing for category wise content is also brilliant. I am not going to search for sites like seekingalpha or zerohedge. However, I may be interested in more. This ability to browse for content, specially newsletters is a first for me and think it's very useful. Specially, for crypto space. There is so much development going on, subscribing to a few channels that regularly send out development and industry updates.
Watching videos content is powered by YouTube search and that is the only channel that seems to be available. I personally do not yet see that as a useful feature. However, I have tried the app enough to see how useful or not so useful it is.
Last, I think it finally gives the option to actually and successfully unsubscribe from content that you have lost interest in or is no longer relevant for you. Unsubscribe here and keep both your Stoop Inbox and email free of unwanted emails.
So that is my opinion guys, hope you found it useful. If you do end up trying the app, do let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. Adios!
