#### I know, I know, you guys are all tired of it. That is why it cool whether you can decide yourself or not if you want to read anything. And yes, some days it is almost as if all of this is not there, but reality is ofcourse that worldwide we have a situation going on and all of us all affected by it. So to give it some more thoughts of what will affect us in the direct future, sin't such a bad idea. All of this is just speculation ofcourse, nobody has the crystal ball to actually see what will happen.

#### This picture was taken last week like around 22.00 in the evening when it was way too hot to even think about going to sleep, so I took the dog for a late evening stroll. Today it is raining cats and dogs, and I am wearing my winter clothes again. See how much can change in a week, without even an effort and it *just* happens all around you.
#### With the USA and Brazil having their all time high numbers of covid-19 cases it would be way too early to say that the pandemic in Europe is over. Sure, at the moment the numbers aren't too bad, but over is just the wrong way of saying things. Their are local oubreaks which measures are taken on. Some in elderly homes, some in meatprocessing factories, some in schools, and yes those people are quarantined and R goes back to <0.5 . (In case you don't get this one, R is the reproduction number. That means if R=1, 1 person is likely to infect 1 other person. So with R<0.5 that means two infected people are needed to infect one other, which means the virus eventually will die out)

#### I am feeling a shift of thoughts on the European news this week on the thought '* will there be a second European wave*'. And in this question the *if* is slowly shifting to the *when* thought.

#### I saw it when earlier I was asked when in a second wave, would I *want* to be working on the ICU again as before. I was thinking about this question while walking around the lake. To me this question is kind of weird. Because honestly, if there will be a second wave, my guess is that it will be worse than the first one. And then question of do I *want* this will be turned irrelevant again, because it will be *needed*.

#### I was outside earlier in the week because I have the feeling that now while the virus is low here in Europe (essential words 'in Europe' for in this case.) I realy feel the need of being on the streets and seeing people again. No, I don't feel the need to go far away to travel. But I do feel the need to see friends, explore food, see nice places, because in again 3/4 months, my expectation is that we are all locked inside again and I will be spending my days again working on the ICU. 
#### I really hope I am wrong in all of this, and that by the end of the year covid-19 will be all just a memory for all of us, but something inside tells me that it is not and the worst is yet to come still. But with still so many silent patient 0 walking around everywhere without having symptoms, reality will tell us different stuff when winter comes again.
