Şabalıd və ya amin.
Bizim tərəflər qoz və fındıq meşələri ilə zəngin olsa da şabalıd ilə də ad çıxarmışıq. Şabalıda türklər "kestane" deyir, bilmirəm nəyə görə elə deyirlər, biz niyə şabalıd deyiriksə ona görə imiş yəqin. Toyda. yasda şabalıd olmasa olmaz.

Şabalıq ağaclarının oduncağından mebel sənayesi üçün yaxşı meterial çıxdığı üçün on il bunda qabaq kəndin vıziyyəti pis idi, kəsib satdıq. Sonra bişirdiyimiz pilovları da şabalıdsız bişirməyə başladıq, mollalarımız da yasini düzgün oxudular, şabalıd zad ağıl və fikirlərini qarışdırmadı.

Bir neçə ildir ki, kənddə təzə şabalıd ağacları bar gətirəcək hala gəlib. Ölü sahibləri və mollalar üçün narahatam, yenə şabalıdlı yasin göndərəcəklər rəhmətə gedənlərə.
