[카일의 일상#111]퀸을 만나다. (보헤미안 랩소디 영화를 보다.)
안녕하세요, 카일입니다.

전 실화를 바탕으로 한 영화를 좋아하는데요.
요즘은 음악관련 영화도 좋아하구요.

그래서 퀸이라는 그룹의 이야기를 영화화했다는 소식에 기다리고 있던 차, 드디어 봤습니다.

평이 워낙 좋아서 제가 더 이상 드릴 얘기는 없구요.
다만, 전 개인적으로 좀 충격적이였습니다.

퀸이 영국밴드라는 사실도 영화개봉 소식 후에 알게 되었어요.
ROCK하면 미국이라는 편견때문이였을까요?
세계적으로 유명하니 당연히 미국이라 생각했을까요.

프레디라는 인물을 중심으로 끌어가는 얘기이고,
또 얼마나 사실대로일지, 미화가 없었는지에 대해선 모르겠지만,
한 사람으로서의 프레디를 보는 게 좋았습니다.
그를 백프로 이해할 수는 없지만, 그의 고통을 볼 수 있었고,
그걸 담담하게 그려낸 영화가 마음에 들었습니다.

지금은 조금 나아졌지만, 영국이라하더라고 70~80년대라는 걸 고려하면,
특히 그의 가족사까지 고려하면,
그는 자기 정체성에 대해 얼마나 많은 고민과 자학을 했을까 싶었습니다.
기자가 계속적으로 질문의 답을 요구하는 장면이 그걸 보여주는 듯 했습니다.

모두가 얘기했듯, 콘서트를 직접 보는 듯 했습니다.
지금은 당연한 관객의 호응이나 라이브 무대의 분위기를 그들이 만들어낸게 아닌가
그들의 새로운 시도에, 그 시대에...
놀라울 따름이였습니다.

배우들의 싱크로율도 완전 대박!
그래서 더욱 영화에 몰입할 수 있었나봅니다.

정말 보는 내내 같이 웃고, 즐기고, 울었습니다.

영화가 끝난 후에도 친구와 한참을 영화에 대해 얘기했습니다.
놀라움과 감동이 가시지 않아서...

퀸 노래가사를 음미하며 다시 한번 들어보고 싶다는 생각이 들었어요.
그냥 음악이 아닌 사람들의 이야기가 담긴 노래라는 걸 느꼈거든요.

퀸의 멤버 4명이 다 좋았지만,
특히 프레디역은, 배우들이 참 애쓰고 대단하단 생각이 다시 한번 들었어요.
박물관은 살아있다에서의 모습이 기억 나네요.

무튼, 하고픈 말은 너무 많지만, 오늘은 여기까지~

다시 한번 더 보고 싶네요.

이 영화는 퀸을 잘 모르는 사람은 퀸을 알게되니까 괜찮은 영화인것 같고 퀸을 어느정도 좋아하는 사람은 예전 히트곡들을 들을수 있어서 좋은것 같습니다
단, 퀸의 완전 매니아들에게는 비추인 영화입니다
영화의 하이라이트 부분에서 영화에 집중이 안되더라구요 ㅋ

퀸 정말 유명한 영국밴드죠.
