Saturdays are one of my favorite days of the week because I'm not expected at work as early as other days of the week and this automatically means I get extra minutes of sleep. Dope, is it not?

I woke up at 7:30 am. Brushed my teeth, washed a towel I'd soaked the previous night, took a brief shower, and got dressed while vibing to my labrinth playlist. I had breakfast which was  hot chocolate and some bread. A little after breakfast my sisters, my mum and I got into the car because my dad was driving us to work. The journey to the salon took about 25 minutes or so. We cleaned and arranged as usual before our first clients walked in. Our first clients were a woman and her daughter. She wanted to get a fresh hair cut for herself , a retouch and a simple updo for her daughter, something that she'd wear to school. My mum took care of the hair cut while I did the little girl's hair.

 The whole appointment took about an hour 30 minutes. Some other people came in before they left though. Two women, one for a hair cut and jerry  curls and the other for a sleek back ponytail. About an hour after they came our final client walked in. She came in for a colour retouch and a curl set. So in total we had five clients today. Nonso visited me again today.

 I made him accompany me for an errand and we took more photos for our "my town in 10 pics" post. On our way back we stopped to get something to eat, I wasn't really in the mood for food so I got some snacks, some popcorn and a doughnut while he got jollof rice.

We ate when we got back to the salon. When we were done eating I helped my mum attend to the remaining clients while he was outside talking to my older sister. He left when my dad  arrived for us to head home. We got home at exactly 7 pm. I did my share of dinner prep which was cutting up veggies for the soup. I took a shower before having dinner. I finished eating a while ago. I'll hopefully fall asleep after writing this.
