EOS is going to be one of the hottest ICOs on Ethereum network. Even though, Ethereum is just a place for EOS to fund (EOS will have its own blockchain like Omise Go), I expect Ether price will be supported because EOS will conduct its crowdsale for the whole year! Due to its crowdsale model, I expect that everyone who wants to buy tokens, will be able to do this. The most important promised feature of EOS is its scalability. The numbers are really amazing. Permission management is also very interesting feature of the EOS blockchain. I hope that the developers will be able to deliver promised features and we all will not have a situation when the founders underdeliver. As you know, its main competitor is Ethereum, so expect a huge ROI in case of EOS success, but it certainly needs time to prove itself.

And oh! I saw the medium post too, I wondered why he took it there and not on steemit, I understood that the issue is now worrisome, I understood clearly that there's a "serious" problem ongoing, and then I exhaled deeply and hope that things goes back to normal. I hope they'll be truce

Essentially Ned downvoated Dans post despite the fact that he denied payout. Ned upvoted his own remark on the post for 2700$, the remark is the best remark in the primary post. Heaps of witnesses downvoted Ned, he expelled his upvote. Revealed to Dan hes not welcome here essentially and Dan has left just to stay away from any more dramatization.

Dan and Ned don't seem to be on good terms currently

I really appreciate what Dan Larimer as done for us and its so sad to see him leave so early, I for one and hope many will follow will continue to support steemit and will not be going anywhere

Because of his ongoing personal problems with @ned ;) Sad but true!

I rather think he wants to separate completely from this platform here. But building up some kind of competitor for Steemit might be not the worst thing at all. Who knows, it might even force us to improve how we gonna use Steemit and everything behind it.

Wow. I had no idea of all the behind-the-scenes drama. Reading through the comments, I wasn't aware of the situation with Ned and Dan. Reminds me of Steve Jobs and Steve "Woz" Wozniak...

They all have Problems.... :-) If it will be a competition for steemit, than steemit will kick ass themselves a bit faster for development. Like the new Logo is such unnesesarry, it is better to put that much work and effort into other important development on steemit.

Maybe they are just doing it to show us , maybe there’s a deeper meaning behind it , who knows ? Or maybe it’s jsut part of a bigger plan
