<html> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/1c02d5ed71.jpg" width="1876" height="1080"/></p> <p>Baked rice with apples is a classic dish when I want to have something sweet for dinner. It is very versatile, it tastes great hot or cold, served as breakfast, lunch, dinner or desert. It is also one of my favorite dishes from childhood. </p> <p>Enjoy!!</p> <p>Suzanah</p> <h2>What you will need for 4 portions:</h2> <ul> <li>300 g (0.66 lb ) of rice</li> <li>500 mL (16.9 oz.) of milk (you might need some more milk if you use short grain rice)</li> <li>1 kg of apples</li> <li>pinch of salt</li> <li>sugar - as little or as much as you want</li> <li>cinnamon - as little or as much as you want</li> </ul> <p>Steps:</p> <p>1. Cook rice until soft in milk with a pinch of a pinch of salt. </p> <p>2. Peel and grate apples and heat up the oven to 180 oC (356 F)</p> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/1c01aed5d1.jpg" width="1920" height="430"/></p> <p>3. Coat the bottom of a baking dish with a half of cooked rice.</p> <p>4. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top of the rice in baking dish.</p> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/1c02f8f87f.jpg" width="1920" height="638"/></p> <p>5. Add a layer of apples on top of the cinnamon and sugar.</p> <p>6. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon and sugar.</p> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/1c0305bc33.jpg" width="1920" height="638"/></p> <p>7. Coat everything with second layer of rice and bake at 180 oC (356 F) for 30-40 minutes.</p> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/1c0274a468.jpg" width="1921" height="638"/></p> <p>8.
