### Pyramid of Himachal - Masrur

The Rock cut temple of Masrur - 800 meters high, 15 kilometers south of the canal on the torrential Kannada road, the Masaroor rock cut temple. It is an archaeological site. It is called the Elora of Himachal by many people.

In the year 1913, Henry told this temple of the first archaeologists of Chelova. Later, in the year 1915, the archaeological department of India started a historical investigation on it.

According to legend it is a temple built in the Mahabharata era. Whether the Pandavas were unknown or not, but the possibility of being caught remains unfinished. There is a lake in front of which the reflection of the temple was dug for Dwadipir's bath. But this is so mythological statement.
According to historians, its formation dates from the eighth to the ninth century. Historically, it was made in King Narsingh Barman Mahamalla (630-664) of the Pallab clan. There is a mixture of Cambodian structure style with Gupta's classical style.

Its central gateway to the east of the entrance gate. The entrance section has four huge breasts. Inside the temple there are statues made of black stone made of Rama, Laxman and Sita.

In 1905, a very devastating earthquake of the Kangra, which is very heavy on the temples. Later in the ruins, there are huge sculptures of Varuna, fire and other Vedic deities. Here there are sculptures of Ardhanarivarsavva ie Harraparbati, Harihar, half Vishnu, Ardha Maheshwar and the three brahmaas, Vishnu and Maheshwar.
