After getting married we decided that we need to spend some days together, only two of us. We always use booking.com and skyscanner.com to get hotels and flights. This time we decided to go to Bulgaria. We chose to go to Sofia and Plovdiv. We traveled to Sofia from Moscow via Varna (a resort city in Bulgaria). We flew by Bulgaria Air. Of course no food was included and the flight Varna - Sofia was two hours later. On my way back to Moscow I flew by Wizz Air to Varna and by Pobeda (a Russian low cost air line) to Moscow. Sean flew back home to Edinburgh as usual by EasyJet to London and then by Ryanair to Edinburgh. Using low cost air lines you should always check the rules for luggage! We always fly with hand luggage. But recently Ryanair has new rules. Your hand luggage goes to hold, for check in luggage you have to pay. Flying by Wizz Air you can have big hand luggage but for check in luggage you need to pay, flying by Pobeda you are allowed to have a small backpack or a purse with you, check in luggage costs 499 rubles (approximately 6-7 euros). Also using low cost air lines you need to be careful with online check in and printing boarding passes, sometimes it can cost use a fortune to do in the airport.
