LOL. I guess. But you can vote any anytime, even take 30 mins to go find stuff from the past 24 hours or so. I do manual curating and I was at #44 curator a few days ago. I don't try to curate for $$, I do it based on what I want to support. I have been doing comments more than posts lately hehe.

To be honest, I do spend most of my time creating.......The Steemicide videos take anywhere from 8-15 hours to create, since I'm doing everything myself, including all acting, editing, both sound and video. I'm starting another line of stuff as well.......so really, my energy mostly goes into creation, not curation. On Slow days I curate, but that's not consistent at all.

I see. I had that issue, if I try to do 4 posts in a day, well then I can;t curate if I choose to put all my time in creating. I need to step aside from making content, and just go to the few topics I am most interested in and look for posts. I do that 2-3 times a day. Plus, throughout the day there is my feed that means I don't have to go looking for stuff. Despite wanting to create content, I know that if I don't do some curating, well if everyone did that then the platform wouldn't survive. So it's my responsibility to not spend my whole day creating or doing other things, and spend some time to curate my feed and others topics that interest me. Also, I need to spend time on reading and commenting ;) as well, so that takes time hehe.

You're assuming bots are always set to max reward. That's not nessesarily true. My own contribution provides arbitrary motives and goals for auto voting. It's still without actually doing it yourself but the idea is that you could model your own voting decision making a bit. You could think of it like teaching a real life metal faced robot to do it for you. "Hey robot, sit down there while I sleep, work, take care of the kids, etc and if there's anything it looks like I'd vote on. I'll read it later anyway."
