- Self-enrichment thru underhanded curation
- Narcissistic Control Freaks causing disharmony
- Orca & Whale Warfare, often over childish bullshit
- Too Many People Wanting to Punish Rather Than Coach
- Gang mentalities
- Robot Armies serving the demented - entirely a detraction
- Racist, sexist, homophobic .. you name it .. ignorance-fueled extremism
- Blatant Scammers
- Not-so-Blatant Scammers
- Self-deluded Elitists and their groupies
- Spammers
- Useless Witnesses Earning STEEM for nothing
- Usual Suspects - Shit Content Posters receiving consistently large rewards from a particular group
- Useless STEEM Inc. "employees" who received a tonne of STEEM but who are doing nothing to deserve it .. I am sure there is at least one. ;-)
- Pursuing small-time short-term gain, by any means without a thought given to how it might fuck our chances of universally enjoyed future BIGTIME.

Fairness and sharing folks, making people feel included and that their contributions have a chance.  Newcomers need to feel they are a part of something, something that they can make 'real gains' from their full participation - but when you tell a relatively new poster that they are fat and should die, oh and here's  a downvote-cherry-ontop .. all just for the lulz!!!??? .. well, you are dooming US ALL.

If these newcomers watch a small collection of gangs enjoying all the benefits, post after post after post, STEEMIT will retain only these small collections, who right now feel far too comfortable in their little echo chamber community chats.

I just wanted to say, it is annoying to see someone post a referral link, just a video (they did not make), or a meme (they did not make) and watch them earn $10+ on those posts. That is how we let Steemit become like Facebook and get flooded with memes because people see they don't have to put effort into it to earn.

That stuff annoys me. I have not paid attention to see if it is just a group of people upvoting the submissions by the same people no matter what though. Probably is.
