RUSTIC APPLE GALETTE 🍎🍂🍎

Hello my Dearest Foodies,

Happy weekend to you all and happy THANKSGIVING CANADA and all Canadians here on Steemit. Yes, we are giving thanks much earlier than our friends in U.S. and for me that means having ready festive recipes from the beginning of October until the end. Unfortunately, I will not be able to do any cooking after, because, as many of you know, in November I am going for carpal tunnel surgery, there for, I am taking break for the whole month. 

Most impartially, I have enough time to make some more goodies until then and today I have for you this delicious and guilt free APPLE GALETTE recipe. Altough, it is little bit tricky to make it, because the dough is very delicate, you will be fine if you follow my instructions. It is truly well worth it!

I must admit that I don't understand that galette hype that is going on at the moment :) I tried a few of them and didn't like any. Even though I must also admit that I haven't tried to make one at home.. the dough was what I didn't enjoy. But yours look different to what I've tried and I might give it a go and you maybe will change my mind about galettes :)

Are you serious? Oh my gosh! This dough is melting in the mouth, but what I discovered, it's that is better the next day, lol. Beside, it's healthy because it's whole grain spelt and refined sugar free. Thank you so much for visiting Martina, I really appreciate it 😍

Howdy Miss Lena! My gosh that looks like perfection! I've never heard of a galette before but if they all look like that I like em! That looks so good, the only thing it needs is about 4 inches of whipped cream on top!

Howdy Janton. My daughter likes it with ice cream, but you can have it with vegan whip cream if you wish, lol. Altough, I find that adding anything else to it it just masks the delicious flavour and texture of the galette itself. I tried it with my homemade ice cream, but it was not my thing. But hey, everyone is different. Thank you so much, I appreciate your support and  I am happy you like it 😊

I think you are right about the toppings, you don't want to mask the great apple and galette flavor, just some whip cream wouldn't mask it enough to interfer. It is a great recipe, I could not NOT like it. lol.
