### Analyst Commentary:
The STEEM price is down 6.17% verse the USD over the past 24 hours on weak volume ($2,267,330) as Bitcoin falls to $8.5k on [regulatory news involving Binance](https://www.coindesk.com/japan-warns-crypto-exchange-binance-licensing-issue/). The market reaction to the news is fairly subdued which either means the market expected this to happen or the market is already gotten over new regulatory probes. Korean trading has lost its dominance of the trading activity with only 43% of the volume and Bittrex taking over the lead. STEEM has fallen over the past 48 hours in line with the Bitcoin correction. New account creation is lower with 400 new accounts created in the past 24 hours. The % vested indicator is up slightly at 71.11% as the elevated SBD price continues to drive investment. Daily active accounts is up at 59,133 accounts active over the past 24 hours. SBD is at $1.99 on Bittrex which is still very elevated over the peg, receive you rewards in 50% SBD and then use the SBDs to buy STEEM on the exchange. SBD conversions are a waste of money again!

For traders, I believe STEEM is fairly valued around the $3 level even after SBD returns to the $1 peg. On the investor side, I believe we will be significantly higher after communities are released and the account creation problem is solved (the timeline for this is currently unknown). I would power up your rewards and buy STEEM below the $3 level.
