**Tennessee is one of the most beautiful states I have ever lived**. There are so many back roads that lead to truly magnificent places of beauty that nature has to offer and I love it(Even if people drive around in cars without hoods, lol).

Today was a house husband day and full-time homeschooling resumes for our household on August 1st. What better time to do a fun activity with the children and get out of some house chores?!-)

**The place we went to today is a place called Waterloo Falls** and is about 6 minutes away from our house. It's off the beaten path and a place really popular with the locals.

The children were going to the bottom today. They've always stayed on the top part, but this is the year to change that! Lily, as always, gets to experience things younger than @wolf-dawg, but it's because we usually wait for her to get old enough to physically participate so they can experience first moments together.

Yes, definitely a lot of entertainment. It was still a bit challenging for the children to get through the current to where we eventually ended up at but they were troopers and definitely enjoyed the end goal. 

I wanted to go on the rope swing, but there was no way I was going to let the kids more than 10 feet away from me. One wrong step and you are in deep water. If I would have planned better, their life jackets would have been with us. **I will remember next time**.

Lol, I know! I think she was freaking out about the current and was afraid to go under. I have some funny stories to tell about our trip, but I am saving it for the @wolf-dawg channel.

I wanted to go on the rope swing so bad but it was too dangerous to leave the children by theirselves.

Yes, we have two waterfalls close to us. There is another one about 20 minutes away called Cummins Mills. I want to take the children, but it's a decent hike and we will have to prepare for that one. We also have Falls Creek Falls about an hour away. It's one of the largest falls in the Eastern United States. I would like to get out there too sometime soon.

Waterfalls are so neat! Each one has it's own personality. When hubby and I vacation in the Upper Peninsula, that's always a focus - which falls do we include? Having a number of them so close is a real perk for you! I'm sure y'all will get to the other ones in good time!
