Pursuant to some of the previously published contributions that revolve around emotional blackmail, most of the comments said that in the midst of explaining emotional blackmail, its stages and what it is, some commentators raised several surprised questions that with such definitions, stages and clues they may have been subjected to a kind of blackmail from the closest relatives And mention that among the comments there was a question whether it is called blackmail even if it was not intended, it was a normal behavior only or even those who take this approach do not know that they are doing some blackmail, and my response was that blackmail is blackmail, whatever the parties, whether they intended or not. They knew it or not

Strikethrough
Perhaps this imbalance in perception came from the fact that the word emotional blackmail appears as a big word and appears in drama series as an armed robbery or a request for money, so some may be surprised by the presence of very small details that are considered a kind of emotional blackmail, and there was another question is how we know that this Emotional blackmail, and this inspired me to search for signs that people may consciously or without it during emotional blackmail, and this is what I found some of it:
1-** Blame for actions or words that were not made fruom yo** .: This type of blame is very common among us, even we who are a fanatic of morals, for sure you found a day beside you in the taxi a husband blaming his wife for being late because she was late at the doctor instead of blaming the doctor who came late About his time, perhaps because we psychologically take comfort in taking out our anger in some way.
2- **Ignoring**: Let me be honest with you, I discovered part of this in my personality, and that when I get angry at someone, I ignore him, instead of resolving the situation and talking frankly about my feelings and what we should do about the situation, but I discovered that this is called emotional isolation and not ignoring. In time of anger, I only take a break from the other person, but ignoring is not considering the person's existence at all, violating his rights, ignoring his feelings, and not lending him personally is attention as a form of punishment
It was precisely at this point that I realized how complicated the human psyche was, how hard it was to distinguish between ignorance and emotional isolation.
3- **Illness**: It is for the opposite party to resort to showing a patient in order to obtain sympathy from you or until he obtains your approval for things that you would not do in the normal situation
4- **Resorting to crying**: This point was very confusing to me during the research, and what is the difference between emotional participation and expressing feelings and blackmail by crying? And what are the limits of each of them? For example, does a person have to be restricted from crying so that others do not think about him or think that he is blackmail? The confusion persists.
5- **The threat of self-harm**: This point, of course, does not need to be explained, and I personally that the people who do this have some psychological defect
6-** Financial exploitation**: On this particular point, I remembered many young men who were in a romantic relationship and then fooled the girl from the other gentleman and asked for huge sums in the name of love, and women's groups are full of these complaints unfortunately
7- **Trying to make you tense**: There may be something wrong with anything and you find yourself surrounded by people who convey tension and fears to you to discourage you from a decision or something, often all of these fears are hypothetical and not real.
These were the most important signs I found, what do you think?
