We usually celebrate anniversaries in a most special ways specially when this is the *first* one. We make it to a point that it will be valuable and unforgettable for both of you as you are building memories together, well that is what relationships are anyway. So I want to share with you guys on how I prepared for it and where you can find the best deal here in UAE.
Are you familiar with **Groupon.ae?** Well it is a website and mobile apps as well were you can find a bunch of great deals from restaurants, spa's, hotels, shopping, things to do, travel, etc name it dude they got you covered within UAE. # FINDING A DEAL
I searched in groupon.ae a deal with one night stay and breakfast plus activity included within Abu Dhabi and I was very lucky to found one. They have a Ramadan special offer for **Emirates Park Zoo Wildlife** and it cost only **AED 252.59** Yep, you read it right๐ its very cheap with inclusion of one (1) deluxe room, breakfast and zoo entry for two.

# LOCATION
The staff from Emirates Park Zoo Wildlife sent me the location so it will be easy for us to locate the area. Since we do not have our own vehicle, we looked for a car lift and it cost us AED 50 for one way. Going back to the city was easy since the receptionist from the hotel will assist you to find a car lift but the charge increased to AED 60.

# ARRIVAL
Check-in time is 15:00 pm and we arrived there at the same time. I was stunned in the place as its huge and there are plenty of murals around. It felt like I was back from my childhood were I used to see zoo's and museum during field trips. ๐

Emirates Park Zoo Wildlife is open from Sunday-Wednesday 9:00 am-8:00pm| Thursday-Saturday and Public Holidays 9:00am -9:00pm.
**The 27 family chalets design provides spectacular views of the cave or wild animals and the 56 rooms delight the guests with dazzling pool areas. Guests of the Resort can enjoy animal encounters; feeding sessions; kids pool and slides; waterfalls; pool bar. Guest can also learn more about animals during educational fun shows and activities led by Animal Specialists in the zoo.**

# THE ROOMS
Emirates Park Zoo Wildlife offer two types of rooms--Deluxe Rooms and Family Chalet. The one we booked is Deluxe Room, good for a family member of three (3).

Family Chalet is good for a family member of 4 with several different styles and designs according to your taste or needs.

# EXPLORING TIME
Since our room is just behind the pool we immediately took our pictures of the pool before starting our zoo tour. It felt like we reserved the venue for the two of us as there are no guest that time and so I enjoyed the view and had enough time to capture it. (photos taken by afternoon and night)

After awhile we begun our zoo tour. Just in front of our room there are barns for deers, in fairness it doesn't smell bad even though there are animals around it, good house keeping tho!

### The zoo structure is in circular shape to maximize the spaces and so it will be connected to each area.

# 1ST STATION| WILD LIFE PARK
There are different areas in the zoo, the first part we went is the *Wildlife Park* where we see the tigers, lions, hyena, hippopotamus and different animals we used to see in the mainland. The zoo structures is an indoor type where it looks like a cave with wide glass window to able to see and observe them from the outside, take note this is also air conditioned.

Aside from watching them, tourist are allow to feed some animals like cows, camel, giraffe, etc. but this have a charge from 30 to 50 dirhams.
# 2ND STATION| THE AQUARIUM
This station is a little bit darker and colder since it became under water wildlife sanctuary. There are several aquariums with different breeds of fish from salt water to fresh water. I did not get a good quality pictures of the fishes since I only used my mobile phone that day. So I took some photos from their website so you could have a glance of what they have in there.

# 3RD STATION| REPTILES
Lizards, python, gecko, water dragon and tortoise will be seen in this area. Each sides of the room has their own aquarium as they cannot combine together.

โ The size of reptileโs brains relative to their body is much smaller than that of mammals.
โ Reptiles use a variety of methods to defend themselves from dangerous situations, such as avoidance, camouflage, hissing and biting.

### Turtles are the cutest! They are small but smart. Did you know that turtles are slow because they don't have to be fast. They're herbivores, so they don't have to chase their food. They have nice, thick shells, which means that most predators simply don't bother with them. Funny right? ๐๐๐

# 4TH STATION| PRIMATE PARADE
From this area, several types of monkeys and baboons can be found here. They are so adorable creatures and I really enjoyed observing them. I took some photos again from the website as I can't capture them in a good angle since most of them are sleeping ๐

# 5TH STATION| BIRDS PARK
Cranes, pelicans, flamingo and other kinds of birds are here. Their colors and behaviors are really inviting as they know how to deal with people. Some are timid but parrots, ah they're talkative and active!

# 6TH STATION| PETTING ZOO
This area are all animals we used to see in the farms and the one's who are into human interaction. You can feed the animals too but again you have to pay additional charges since the food will be coming from them.

We end our tour at the 6th station since it's past 5:00 in the afternoon. Roaming around for almost two hours straight is tiring somehow so we decided to come back in our hotel room. We have to energize ourselves since we are planning to watch the *sea lion show* by 7:00 pm. Heading back to the room I was surprised of what I've found..... ๐๐๐

### Oh how sweet my hubby is.... of course I have also surprise for him so we exchange our gifts.

And to have a dinner date inside the room we just ordered some foods from Pizza Hut, they still deliver no matter how far you are! ๐๐๐

After that sumptuous dinner we head back to the zoo to check the sea lion show. Unfortunately, they started the show 30 minutes earlier and we missed it. I felt bad since we are not informed but that's okay, there always be a next time.
# THE NEXT DAY
My favorite part when we're having an overnight stay in a hotel is the food! Ahahaha, I'm always looking forward to my breakfast, of course it is the most important meal of the day. Ours was served in bed so we consumed more time going at the restaurant. We had an egg omelet, some breads with butter and cherry filling, fried hotdog, pickled vegetables, fresh fruits and hummus. Breakfast will be incomplete without a cup of coffee, so I got mine.

After having that heavy and healthy breakfast, we continued exploring around, we haven't been in Elephant barn so that's where we're going. Usually they have schedules for show but since the weather is too hot, they skipped doing it. Didn't have a good photo of the Elephant as they are all inside the barn. So I just have one picture that was taken at the side of the barn, the rest was taken from their website.

How I really wish I was able to see their show. Ever since I have this admirable feeling towards elephant, I really like having interaction with them. They are huge but soft, unless they can sense you are a sign of danger to them, then you will be definitely in trouble.
### The next activity is..... Swimming time! ๐๐๐That cold and clear water beats the heat!

Having a quality time with my husband was really therapeutic. Going out with your love ones can bring calmness and relaxation to your cloudy mind. This year we have another memories to keep, our first 365 days celebration was really fun, educational and refreshing!
