This weeks topic of AI is one that I have been interested in for a while now, I work in an IT department so AI is one of these we talk about often.

I see a great benefit in AI for us humans, from self driving cars to restaurant cooking AI robots.  I see a world where AI/robots could take over the mundane tasks that humans don't enjoy, which frees up humans to do higher level tasks such as research and self development which will in turn benefit the earth as a whole.

I agree that there is also a scary aspect of this, my main concerns is how we would hand this transition period which is happening already with fast food and grocery chains putting in self check out machines and the potential of replacing drivers with self driving cars.
