I've wondered why posts are not separated into, at least, comments and blog posts. I'm at about 4700, but I comment a lot. I do try to make the comments count. It helps me keep track of what and how I'm doing, or at least have done. Well, anyway, Steemit has been fun. I got to brush up on my writing and communication skills, and meet a few new and interesting people. It has been a privilege, but I have to wind this down. This is just not as productive as I like to be. I'll probably be kicking around, saying goodbye to some people for a bit, but I just can't keep pouring time into this.

The reward pool is only the newest development in a long and degenerating pattern. If things improve I may engage again. I think I've made the mistake of being too honest to make profit. I have a tendency to do that in real life. Maybe I'll come back with a new account and post latte' pictures and fly on leaf photography. That would be more likely to get rewards. It's not all about the money, but this is the first social media I've been on. I thought I'd found something that was worth my time, we'll see. Got to pay the bills though, and I'm going backwards here.

Really sad to see you go! I hope we see you back, as always real life is real problems, if you have to focus on that I wish you the best of luck, in the end this won't pay for real life problems, and the community is growing and evolving so we will go through growing pains as a result but it's all about keeping a positive attitude, not to self deceptive positivity, but grounded in reality. I am sure the community will welcome you back with adoration, you've always had excellent content to share and even if you think it a detriment I don't think too honest is one, especially on here. I'm sorry to hear this too. Hopefully we'll get to a point where the site looks beautiful and is user friendly and lucrative, especially with the apps in development.
