So many birds!

I can't find a good way to post videos except through DTube and that's a horrible experience in itself that I don't want to repeat anymore. 

It's not the best video, either, I know, being mainly a shot of our front security door. It's the sound that I want to get across!

Folks often mention how many birds they see coming and going from our block. I decided to video this morning's ruckus, so here it is...

Besides Dolores's constant nagging for free access to our newly planted vegetable seedlings, I can pick -

 - our resident flock of Sparrows
 - 2 Wattle birds playing
 - A Noisy Minah hassling a Piping 
   Shrike
 - A Kookaburra saying something 
   but not laughing
 - Missus Blackbird calling
 - A Rainbow Lorikeet in the tree 
  across the road
 - I can see a dove taking it all in.He 
  doesn't say much now, 
  preferring to hit it at 7 every morning

That's a bit of a fuss and the fun goes on all day!

**I sometimes wonder if keeping birds attracts more birds, because I don't think our garden is quite as lush and inviting as your's, but these are pretty common sounds at our place too. The neighbour's trees attract a lot of magpies, magpie larks and sometimes the lorikeets. Then if all else goes silent there's the other neighbour's cockatiel to fill it with the help of the chooks. Someone else in the neighbourhood has chickens as well now. I sometimes hear the egg calls when mine have gone silent.**
