Elves on a bike...

They moved multiple times during the day and were quickly found by my daughters. I noticed just a moment ago they were in my study and had messed around with the Christmas lights.  The cheeky little things got themselves in a tangle.

Some people love white lights.  I love the colored ones.

Anyway, I was again debating with the girls that it was less than ideal that these elves disappeared on Christmas Eve.  I said that we paid for them.  That I might have to take my receipt back to Myers (the department store we bought them from), and complain that the elves we bought had run off back to Santa.

Violet covered her face in disgust and said I really needed to reread the book on the Elf on the Shelf.  That they would return next year.  She complained I was such a child, because I was missing the point...🤣

Jade said it wasn’t a good idea to complain.  And when my husband conveniently said he’d lost the receipt, she said, “That’s good you lost it, dad.”  

Really tired, so pushing this one out quickly and getting offline!  Hoping everyone is more organized getting their Christmas decorations up and not leaving it to the elves...
