Went to the doctor and I am off work for a few days so I "treated" myself a little this afternoon with the meal and drink. (And it always makes life a little more interesting when you can have breakfast food for lunch or dinner.)

I guess you could say I have rediscovered that I somewhat enjoy cooking - although I'm still learning. I remember when I was younger I used to like to try to create things food-wise.

# Today's menu:

-whole grains toast w/ chunky peanut butter and honey
-eggs
-bacon
-Roma tomato

It's not exactly a meal that requires much culinary ability - and it's rather common (at least in America) - but, hey, I cooked.

I don't have the receipt, but the estimated cost is:

It's kind of funny...I used to think prices at breakfast diners were so cheap when I was younger - and wondered how they were able to do it. Breakfast is possibly the cheapest meal out there.


I cheated a little today on the budget aspect because I drank a _Monster: Khaos_ Juice Energy Drink with this meal which costed **$2.75**. Generally, though, you could just drink water or have a glass of orange juice or milk for an **additional 30 cents or so**.

_Sidenote: I prefer these specific energy drinks when I am to have one as they are actually 30% juice and have 33% or more less sugar - not to mention, they taste good._
