Foie Gras Restaurant in Paris – Au Petit Sud-Ouest

<p>For our last trip to Paris, I had a mission. &nbsp;Find a good restaurant specialized in foie gras.</p>
<p>I found a lovely restaurant by asking our good friend Google: “Best foie gras restaurant in Paris” and Au Petit Sud-Ouest came up. &nbsp;It is a casual restaurant located near Eiffel Tower with very friendly servers.</p>

<p>We came with our local friend and she was surprised that we know about this restaurant.</p>

<p>We shared an appetizer foie gras 3 ways for 2 people. &nbsp;It was done fresh, half cooked and pan fried. &nbsp;I love the half cooked and pan fried foie gras, feel so satisfy to have foie gras slowly melted in my mouth. &nbsp;I found the fresh one just little greasy. &nbsp;We were there for the foie gras ….but the portion was too generous that we didn’t need to order a second round. &nbsp;Look how big the pieces are.</p>

<p>We glad we saved our appetite for the duck. &nbsp;Since all the duck dishes were prepared perfectly.</p>

<p>JJ’s duck breast dish – love the meat, it was so tender and juicy. &nbsp;So Delicious.</p>

<p>Our friend’s duck leg – I didn’t try it…but she said it was very good.</p>

<p>Emma’s smoked duck breast salad - I love the smoked aroma, it was perfectly smoked.</p>

<p>Great food, friendly service, and reasonable price. &nbsp;</p>
<p>If you are still craving for more foie gras, the restaurant also sells foie gras to go. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Of course…we got some to go I will definitely go back to this restaurant on my next Paris trip…and try their foie gras with truffle sauce.</p>
