Bad luck runs rampant through all of our teams. Thank goodness for the Super Bowl victory. I hate seeing guys like this that bring such passion to the game going down. Hopefully we’ll see you next year Andrew.
Every team has injuries but this is a tough one. That said, look at the Yankees. Half the team is on the DL and you’d never know it. Phils depth of talent obviously isn’t the Yankees, just sayin’ though. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Sorry, Cutch. He’s such a great guy & has a great personality. More importantly is a great player. Hopefully he’ll stay around for moral support. Better yet win it all for him &
Mr. Montgomery!!

I literally could cry. Cutch is one of my favorite players, and that’s a huge loss. And i hate to say it, but now he’s under contract for 2 more years, and who knows how effective he’ll be with the injury and age. Just an awful injury.
This is why depth is HUGE and why the Yankees have been able to survive the ridiculous amount of injuries they’ve survived this season, and this team has no depth. Their bench is absolutely useless. Rodriguez, Gosselin, Williams, Knapp are all beyond terrible. They need to go out now and get multiple bench players because Jay Bruce now might not even be considered a bench player because he’s probably gonna platoon in the outfield. Either Segura or Hernandez will have to bat lead off. We still need pitching bad. They better band together and play and win for McCutchen. He played his heart out and was one of the best lead off men in baseball this year.
