Ok, so let me state this first & formost. Climate change is real! However...

The belief that us petty humans can affect this massive planet on such a scale is an arrogant self righteous idiotic thought. Have we had an affect, sure, we may have sped up the process by a few decades. Although, this was going to happen with or without us & has been happening for  millions of years. We've only been recording temperature data for a couple of centuries!

There are many conspiracy theories about this. There is the possibility that the "they" want to melt the ice caps eithe to establish new trade routs & open new oil reserves worth billions of dollars. There is whatever could be locked underneath the antarctic ice, be it alien technology, or the true atlantis, or just more resources to pillage...I personally believe it is another fear mongering technique just like the constant "terrorism" threat. We are being put in a constant state of fear to subdue us & make us fear ourselves & our neighbors to create a police state where security is more important than freedom. Once people start dying in large numbers they will revert to their primal states & be more submisive to the powers that be & will agree to more control untill we end up in a George Orwell novel. If you've never heard of the Georgia Guidestones, you should look them up...

There is the possibility that we are secretly working on weather manipulation or terraforming  techniques. More conspiracy theories that may or may not be true. But at this point, there is no point in "reducing emissions," or "The Paris Agreement," or whatever weather control the they may be trying to implement. These are farses meant to distract us from the realities that are inevitable. The earth is in a warming state, the ice is melting, the oceans are rising. 

This is going to happen whether we like it or not! Let's be proactive about it instead of reactive. Let's look at the data & say hey, my city is probably going to be under water in the next 10 years. Lets learn from Katrina & not repeat the same mistakes.
