DeFi is pretty cool but let not get way to far yet IMO 
DeFI is not become to much of a buzzword and until the oracle is fixed it not decentralized. But it a great promise to the future.  :)
For now Maker/Dai is pretty much a more transparent bitmex(it not really noncustodial in the trad sense but more so than bitmex)
