I think we will be surprised by a few new winners, but as far as I see it those surprise coins are LEAST likely to be currency coins. Bitcoin has got that realm, and unless BTC fails we dont need more of that.

Platforms and utility tokens still have SO MUCH room for potential growth. As I see it thats the play. But thats where most of the risk is too.

I do believe some viable new altcoins will perform better when the next bull market commerce , because most newer altcoins are solving some problems that the old coins cannot solve in real life . Blockchain technology is meant to be society problem solver and with what is happening in the crypto space more available altcoins are fitting as solutions solvers to these problems

I think we can see some successful projects come along as capital is still abundantly available as long as traditional financial markets hold up.

I am seeing a shift towards SMT rather than traditional alts issued via ICO. I think the OG Altcoins will still drive adoption as the market has more familiarity with them.

In my opinion a good strategy would be to diversify your holdings into as many promising Crypto assets as possible.  I am going to continue to hold the basket of Cryptos that I have now but am always looking for a new asset that can do something better and potentially solve a problem that exists in the Crypto space.  Being diversified and staying up to date on current developments is a very important thing to do in the Crypto investing space.  Diversification will allow you to mitigate risk from any one project/coin that fails and staying up to date on current developments will allow you to identify new opportunities and identify when it may be time to sell an existing holding that becomes obsolete.

I think new cryptos could appear and may be successful if they  prioritise " substance over style". By that I mean good well thought out idea that actually solves a real problem instead of tokenising vapour ware. They will also need to  ensure they have a kick ass team of developers to make the idea happen. Would also help if this time crypto startups actually gave away some equity when they raised investment from "joe public".
