Good vibes isn't just a saying, certain sounds can actually stimulate healing! Some of the ways that Sound Healing can affect us are reducing stress, improving sleep, balancing the left and right brain, removing negative energies and uplifting emotions, improving circulation through stimulation, making your immune system stronger, and connecting with your higher self.

Singing bowls, (like the one Daniela is holding in the picture above) are amazing tools for stimulating the healing process, and they're fun to play!  A singing bowl is a type of bell that can hold a sustained note. Striking the sides of the bowl will emit a sound like that of a gong. When you run the mallet around the rim of the bowl, it changes the sound. Lowering or raising the singing bowl will also alter the sound.

During our last excursion to downtown Eugene, Oregon, we gave out blankets and clothing to those in need. We also offered sound healing services. Daniela made quick friends with this endearing gentleman and his four legged companion. Full of festive spirit, he was excited to experience what the singing bowl could offer.

Daniela began to strike the singing bowl, and as it toned she walked in circles.  Alternating the height of the bowl to change the pitch, placing our new friend in a meditative and relaxed state beginning the healing process.  She plays for several minutes, amplifying the healing sounds of the singing bowl with an Om chant.

The meditation is complete with a loving hug full of positive energy.

We are happy to be of service and help wherever we can. It brings us joy to make others smile. We encourage community involvement in many forms. It doesn't matter who you are, or how much you have, as long as you let love light the way forward you will succeed. A small gesture of soothing music went a long way  and we were grateful to help bring some relief to our friend.
