Hi Steemians, i wanted to show you, what kind of bad news Larry from https://www.stopmandatoryvaccination.com/ shared with me today. Obviously Mailchimp is "cleaning up" in an orwellian style, closing accounts from anti-vaxxers and "stealing" or blocking their address-list. Get out there while you can, even if you got nothing to worry about, it would be a political statement to go/work with an alternative for the future. Thanks. Take care. Luca1777  Dear Friend, Mailchimp is an email-marketing platform that allows activists and businesses to collect emails from subscribers, create emails, and then send those emails to hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of users. There are numerous such email marketing platforms, such as Constant Contact, AWeber, and more, but Mailchimp is a fairly popular one that is used by a lot of people and one that I used for over five years. On June 6th I began receiving reports that Mailchimp had been shutting down accounts, not giving the account owners their email lists and stating that they do not allow anti-vaccine content on their platform. On June 7th, Mailchimp issued this statement: “Mailchimp has shut down a number of accounts for anti-vaccination content that violates our Terms of Use, and we’re adding this category to our routine searches for prohibited content. Spreading misinformation about the safety and efficacy of vaccines poses a serious threat to public health and causes real-world harm. We cannot allow these individuals and groups to use our Marketing Platform to spread harmful messages and expand their audiences. We trust the world’s leading health authorities, like the CDC, WHO, and the AAP, and follow their guidance when assessing this type of misuse of our platform.” We have since discovered that Mailchimp also gives funding to the CDC Foundation, which probably plays a role in why Mailchimp is shutting down vaccine skeptic users. My Mailchimp account was shut down a few days ago and they have not answered any of my questions. However, I am fortunate that I had early warning and began exporting my email list every day and was able to get my back up system fully functional and set up before they shut me down. Interestingly, something similar happened with GoFundMe where I had everything set up prior to them shutting down vaccine skeptic accounts. Trying to stay ahead of the censorship curve here! Finally, it looks like I have found an email template editor so that I can send pretty HTML emails again. Still testing and setting up that system, so you may see a couple/few more of these text only emails before I have that fully functional. If you are currently using Mailchimp, I highly recommend getting off this fascist platform and finding a new platform to use. Click here for a list, and also check out sender.net and robly.com. There’s no reason for any of us to remain with a platform that refuses to let parents share their stories of vaccine injury, vaccine damage and vaccine death.
