Many people experience stress and self esteem issues. It is unfortunate that many of these people suffer from depression, anxiety, and stress related illnesses. In this article I will offer some suggestions to help you get on the road to healing from stress and self esteem.

A fundamental first step to helping with stress and self esteem, and to overcoming your depression, is for you to examine and analyze what it is that is causing you stress. Stress is a normal body response to perceived danger or threat, or in some cases when we are in a fight or flight mode, and as we know it can be very damaging to our health.

In order to cure stress  you must first learn how to recognize and treat the problem(s) that are causing you stress and self esteem. If you do not want to become depressed, anxious or sick then you need to find and understand the problem(s).

Once you identify the stressors or causes of your stress  you have the opportunity to address and eliminate them, thus boosting your self-esteem. Many times these same individuals do not know where they are having these problems. The good news is that most of them are unaware that they even have a problem.

To get out of depression, anxiety or stress related problems you must discover the source(s) of your stress. Then it is up to you to get rid of the problem(s) which caused the problem. It is important to be proactive in your efforts to raise your stress and self esteem. There are many ways to begin that process, one of them is to find an effective technique to work on.

I have found that one effective method to use in treating your depression, anxiety and stress related issues is to create a positive affirmation. When I am asked what are the best affirmations to use, I often suggest that you focus on the words, "I am happy"I am healthy", because these two are very powerful words that are known to change a person's outlook on life.

As you repeat this affirmation, you will begin to feel the change in your outlook on life. It is a simple as this statement will take you a long way toward your goal of having a healthy and positive outlook on life. Also, if you are having any emotional problems or difficulties then repeating the affirmation can help you overcome them. Remember, you do not have to live with these emotions or accept the state of affairs, all you need to do is identify the source and eliminate it.
