곳간에서 인심난다

지하철에서 우연히 60대 어쩌면 70대 정도의 어머님들의 대화를 듣게 되었어요.
강남에 살고 계시는 분들인가본데 집값이 많이 올라서 자식들이 여러 요구를 하나봅니다.
아파트를 팔고 외곽으로 옮기고 그 차액으로 본인들의 사업자금을 해달라
혹은 사는 아파트에 엉덩이를 들이밀고 들어와 살아놓고는 이제와서 자기가 모시고 사는것처럼 유세를 부린다. 그 집이 자기 집인것처럼 지분을 요구한다 등...

정말 많이 들어본 이야기지만 실제로 듣게 되니 많이 심각한 느낌이었어요.
노후가 준비가 안되어서 자식들이 힘들어 하는 이야기도 많이 들어봤고 반대의 경우도 많고 그렇네요.

아이들 키우는데 얼마나 돈이 많이 들어요.
어마어마한 교육비를 감당하고 키우자면 사실 노후준비가 어렵고 결혼시키는데 또 돈도 많이 들고 그렇게 빈털털이가 되다시피 노인이 되고 나면 자식들은 자기 먹고 살기 바빠서 우리 부모는 노후준비도 안하고 뭐하셨나? 합니다.

저만 해도 아이들이 해달라는건 사실 다해주고 싶어요. 나에게 쓰는 돈은 아깝지만 애들에게 쓰는 돈은 아깝지 않죠. 노후준비없이 다 퍼주고나면 아이들에게 짐이 될게 뻔하니까 또 준비도 해야하고....참 쉽지 않네요.

어쩌면 낀 세대라 효도(?)는 하되 받지는 못할거라 미리 각오는 하고 있습니다. 열심히 벌어야죠.
곳간에서 인심난다는 옛말, 살수록 맞는 말입니다.

먼저 산 울 인생 선배들은  "자식에게 곳간 다 퍼주면 비참해진다." 라고 종종 말하더군요. 그러면서 "비참해지지 않으려면 마인드 컨트롤 잘 하라."라고 말이지요...ㅋㅋ

자그마한 재산도 자식들이 붙으면 싸웁니다.
제가 지금 그런 일을 겪고 있습니다. 제 처가 일인데 아주 심각하네요. ^^

그렇게 보면 저희 어머니는 참 대단하신 듯 합니다.
2년 전에 종이를 하나 들고 오셔서 많지는 않지만, 
>내 재산 이렇게 하기로 한다. 

그렇게 알아서 분배 해 주셨습니다. 덕분에 그 집에 들어가는 수리비 재산세 등등 해서 모든 비용을 분배 받은 것 만큼 내고 있습니다. 안 내면 재산 지분을 못 받거든요. ㅋㅋ

예전에 IMF 시절에 어머니 재산 욕심 안 내고 은행에만 빌린 것이 천만다행이라고 생각하는 요즘 입니다. 

열심히 살아서 자식 한테 손 안 벌려야겠죠?
