Para nadie es un secreto que Venezuela está atravesando en estos momentos por la peor crisis de su historia, crisis económica, política, social, institucional y militar para ser más precisos.
En estos últimos 19 años dominados políticamente por un partido socialista, los venezolanos hemos visto como se ha deteriorado cada vez más nuestra calidad de vida.
Cosas tan simples como comprar pan, tener dinero en efectivo, comerte un helado, salir una noche con amigos o simplemente caminar libremente en la calle se han vuelto una odisea. Para el venezolano promedio es imposible darse uno que otro gusto fuera de la rutina debido a los elevados precios de los bienes y servicios.
Pensar como una familia de 4 personas puede sobrevivir con un sueldo mínimo cuando solo alcanza para comprar 1 cartón de huevos, 1 kilo de arroz, 1 kilo de pasta (spaghetti) y medio kilo de sal para todo un mes, eso sin contar los gastos inherentes a la vida misma (gastos de pasajes, renta de teléfonos celulares, alquiler, condominio, agua, luz y demás gastos), sin contar gastos de contingencia (enfermedades, reparaciones a bienes muebles e inmuebles, reposición por perdida, robo o hurto de bienes, entre otros).
Debemos ser creativos a la hora de enfrentar las batallas diarias, algunos con más fuerza que otros, se está haciendo frecuente el suicidio por depresión, el caso más reciente ocurrido el día de hoy (viernes 06 de Abril de 2018) el del reportero Alejandro Cañizales perteneciente al programa radial “La Máquina del Aire” quien durante 16 años fue la voz de la emisora “Traffic Center” realizando su trabajo periodístico a diario a bordo de un helicóptero con la finalidad de orientar a los habitantes de Caracas sobre el estado del tráfico.

For nobody is a secret that Venezuela is currently going through the worst crisis in its history, economic, political, social, institutional and military crisis to be more precise.
In these last 19 years politically dominated by a socialist party, venezuelans have seen how our quality of life has deteriorated more and more.
Things as simple as buying bread, having cash, eating an ice cream, going out with friends for a night or just walking freely on the street have become an odyssey. For the average venezuelan it is impossible to give one another taste out of the routine due to the high prices of goods and services.
Think like a family of 4 people can survive with a minimum wage when you can only buy 1 egg pack of 36 units, 2 lb of rice, 2 lb of spaghetti and 0.25 lb of salt for a whole month, not counting the inherent costs to life itself (travel expenses, mobile phone rental, rent, condominium, water, electricity and other expenses), without counting contingency expenses (illnesses, repairs to movable and immovable property, replacement for loss, theft or theft of goods) , among others.
We must be creative when facing daily battles, some with more force than others, suicide is becoming frequent due to depression, the most recent case occurred today (Friday April 06, 2018) that of the reporter Alejandro Cañizales belonging to the radio program "La Máquina del Aire" who for 16 years was the voice of the station "Traffic Center" doing his daily work on board a helicopter in order to guide the inhabitants of Caracas on the traffic condition.

Vivir en un país donde te levantas todos los días a dar lo mejor de ti, tratar de salir adelante, tratar a las demás personas con una sonrisa para así lograr conectar afectivamente e ir sumando clientes nuevos a la lista es extremadamente duro cuando al final del día llegas a casa y te das cuenta que no lograste absolutamente nada porque por más esfuerzo que hagas la comida no te alcanza para comer 3 veces al día, no puedes ahorrar para comprar el teléfono celular que quieres, no te alcanza para alimentar a tu familia que tanto depende de ti o simplemente no puedes darte el lujo, si lujo, de tomarte una cerveza porque ese simple hecho te descuadra todas las deudas que tienes en mente por pagar y limita tu capacidad de compra pudiendo aprovechar ese dinero que se irá en una simple e insignificante cerveza comprando algo de comida.

Quizás muchas personas que no sean de Venezuela lo vean exagerado, pero los pondré en contexto, imaginen una familia de 3 personas, el esposo como cabeza líder del hogar, la esposa desempleada por la situación laboral y un niño de 8 años, el sueldo mínimo actual (al 06 de Abril de 2018) es de 393.000 Bolívares, más un bono de Alimentación de 915.000 que hacen un total mensual de 1.308.000 bolívares como sueldo mínimo.
Un pan en una panadería tiene un costo de 90.000 Bolívares, si multiplicamos para una sola persona simplemente para comer un solo pan diario sin ningún tipo de complemento (jamón, queso, huevo, mantequilla, entre otros) y agua durante un mes serian 2.700.000 Bolívares… Eso es lo que estamos viviendo.
Es entendible la masiva migración de venezolanos en búsqueda de un mejor futuro porque fuera del país haciendo cualquier cosa, así sea de menor rango a lo que hacían en Venezuela, tendrán muchas más oportunidades y mejor calidad de vida.
Recientemente el autodenominado “PRESIDENTE OBRERO” en una rueda de prensa a medios de comunicación nacionales se burlaba de los venezolanos que se encontraban “lavando pocetas” (inodoros o sanitarios) en otros países, sabiendo que muchas de esas personas son excelentes profesionales que ejerciendo sus carreras en el país no podían costear las necesidades básicas y actualmente así como él dice “lavando pocetas” pueden costear sus gastos, tener capacidad de ahorro y ayudar a los familiares que aún quedan y no pueden salir del país por las distintas razones que tengan.
Fueron miles las reacciones a nivel mundial sobre esas declaraciones, youtubers, bloggers, influencers y demás personas que a través de sus redes sociales manifestaron desprecio hacia el “Presidente Obrero” que se burla de los venezolanos obreros en otros países. Hablar de migración actualmente es un tema muy sensible y mucho más cuando se hace de forma despectiva.
Soy fiel partidario y creyente de que el trabajo hace al hombre, siempre que sea una labor honesta, honrada, buscando cada día superarse pero por esfuerzo propio sin hacer daño a los demás es motivo de admiración y debemos apoyar en todo momento.
Ahora los venezolanos somos habitantes del mundo y estoy convencido de que cada uno de los que actualmente están fuera del país tienen el sueño de volver a esta tierra con todas las experiencias aprendidas para ayudar a la reconstrucción de la tierra que los vio nacer…

Living in a country where you get up every day to give the best of you, try to get ahead, treat other people with a smile to connect affectively and add new customers to the list is extremely hard when the end of the day you get home and you realize that you did not achieve anything because no matter how much effort you make the food is not enough to eat 3 times a day, you can not save to buy the cell phone you want, you can not afford to feed your family how much depends on you or you just can not afford it, if you fancy drinking a beer because that simple fact will unbalance all the debts that you have in mind to pay and limit your purchasing power, taking advantage of that money that will go into a simple and insignificant beer buying some food.

Maybe many people who are not from Venezuela see it as exaggerated, but I will put them in context, imagine a family of 3 people, the husband as the head of the household, the unemployed wife due to the work situation and an 8 year old child, the minimum wage current (to April 6, 2018) is 393,000 Bolivars, plus a Food bonus of 915,000 that make a monthly total of 1,308,000 bolivars as minimum salary.

A bread in a bakery has a cost of 90,000 Bolivars, if we multiply for a single person simply to eat a single daily bread without any supplement (ham, cheese, egg, butter, among others) and water for a month would be 2,700,000 Bolivars... That's what we're living.

It is understandable the massive migration of Venezuelans in search of a better future because outside the country doing anything, even if it is of lower rank than what they did in Venezuela, they will have many more opportunities and a better quality of life.

Recently the self-styled "PRESIDENTE OBRERO" in a press conference to national media mocked the Venezuelans who were "cleaning toilets" in other countries, knowing that many of these people are excellent professionals who exercise their Careers in the country could not afford the basic needs and now as he says "cleaning toilets" can afford their expenses, have savings capacity and help relatives who are still left and can not leave the country for the different reasons they have.

There were thousands of reactions worldwide on these statements, youtubers, bloggers, influencers and others who through their social networks expressed contempt for the "Presidente Obrero" who mocks the Venezuelan workers in other countries. Talking about migration is currently a very sensitive issue and much more when done in a derogatory way.

I am a loyal supporter and believer that work makes man, as long as it is an honest, honest work, every day looking to improve but by own effort without hurting others is a reason for admiration and we must support at all times.

Now we Venezuelans are inhabitants of the world and I am convinced that each of those who are currently out of the country have the dream of returning to this land with all the experiences learned to help rebuild the land that saw them being born...
