<div class="text-justify">In the particular case of India, which ranks second with the most infections and 311,388 confirmed deaths (Figures reported in: Data Repository by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University), beyond this sad reality, a new health nightmare is added, as an estimated 9,000 cases of mucormycosis have been reported.</div>

<div class="text-justify">This pathology, mucormycosis, has been vulgarly labeled as the "black fungus" infection, mysteriously this strange infection has been affecting patients recovered from Covid-19 causing the death of more than half of the people who contract this deadly fungus.</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify">According to medical reports, this fungus affects the sinuses, brain, lungs and can cause death in diabetic patients, immunosuppressed, cancer patients, and all those suffering from Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify">For India, the "black fungus" has already become a bigger challenge than Covid-19 itself, hence, it is being assured that if patients do not receive adequate treatment in time, mortality can escape up to 94%.</div>
