Hello,

this post is written with a purpose - I want you to think a little...

A person very close to me got some interesting homework the other day. She had to write down 20 things that she is really proud of about herself, stuff that she accomplished in her life that she can really feel awesome about.

Like many, I also sometimes have problems with my self-esteem, especially when problems never seem to stop and everything seems to go wrong. I also had a few disasters in the childhood years that have stuck with me since and occasionally some bad stuff rises to the surface. But still, I try to think positively as much as possible, so I also tried to think of things I can put on the mentioned list. If I start with things like learning to talk, to walk, to write, or tie my shoes... it's pretty much no problem. :) Otherwise, I had to think really hard about it. But the little things are important just as well :) They are the backbone of everything.

It's important to look on the bright side, always find positive things, even if they are small. It's easy to get overwhelmed with bad stuff. Especially in the hectic world we live in today.
