My hope in sharing this post on both platforms (Steemit<->Hive) is to promote my ``b/oc.scape`` project. The following information was initially posted <a href="https://hive.blog/hive-175254/@machnbirdsparo/bloc-scape-defi-the-two-paths">here</a>. Only the first paragraph is missing.

<center><b>``The importance of decentralization cannot be overstated. ``</b></center>

As stated in the introductory post, b/oc.scapes is meant to be the technical half of my ``Hive<->Steemit`` contributions. Even so, there are times when a creative perspective on technical operations is warranted. I believe this to be the case when attempting to convey the dire nature of how much ``the world need decentralization`` right now.

``DeFi: The Two Paths`` touches on a subject that's telling on many levels. For those without a formal education, the following illustration might be helpful:

The jobs these people do are valued by small companies and large corporations alike. They are both locally and globally in need. However, amongst themselves and other business professionals, water-cooler jesting of one being the logical Spock and the other a NYC Village artist is entirely understandable.</i>

The above fictional story makes more sense when put into the context of market prediction. I believe this to be especially useful in planning implementations for decentralize applications and systems.

<br>Allow me to summarize my thoughts in a single sentence before proceeding to more analogies to conclude today's b/oc.scape post.

<center><b>``The world needs to approach decentralized commerce from the perspective of human emotions because people create technology, corporations, and policies- and not the other way around.``</b></center>

<h3><br>Don't fall into the pitfalls of overly centralized solutions. </h3>
<h3>We cannot control everything, especially not the future.</h3>

When it comes to money, emotions can often run quite strong. This is why such an effort might be challenging. Some might even consider it mentally (and even physically) taxing. 

<br>Take extra time if you need it, like a good night's sleep or a rescheduling for next week. In the moment, this might seem like procrastination, so keep in mind some of  the tragic failure that have been directly attributed to centralized systems (e.g. financial crisis of 2008 and any of a number of major system hacks).

Visualize another (purer) path beyond what lies in front of you. Oftentimes, the information we absorb has been altered to fit someone else's agenda. Changing weather patters illustrate what the future is truly like.

Envisioning the benefits of decentralization can return us to a proper mindset.
