Matthew 1:1 (KJV)
*The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.*

The description given in this verse leads us right in to the “generations” of Jesus Christ but the book itself concerns His generation. It tells us of:
**His birth
His circumstances and the times in which he lived and
His own story from birth to resurrection**

In some sense the whole Bible is a book of the generation of Jesus Christ. He is the same yesterday, today and forever so His generation never ends. The Bible, cover to cover, informs us of:
**Who He is
What He does and
Those who are His own**
