The present installment seeks to give compliments to the activity assigned by professor @yohan2on in week three of the fourth season of the courses driven from the #SteemitCryptoAcademy spaces.

<div class="text-justify"> For no one is a secret that the term Blockchain is associated with the world of cryptocurrencies, so we make a wrong judgment about it, since we reduce the potential of this type of project or network, so we must understand that blockchain, is a type of scalable, digitized and decentralized accounting technology, which allows the storage of blocks or packets of data associated with commercial exchanges between users, under this methodology gives you confidentiality, transparency, security and scalability of data over time.

<div class="text-justify"> In previous publications we could mention that this technology is extrapolable and one of the most promising scenarios to achieve this task is associated with the internet of things (IoT), so following this same perspective we can implement a technological process based on blockchain that allows improving the global health system by applying more effective and transparent process.

<div class="text-justify"> In this sense, the objective behind this research is based on making known the scope of blockchain in the world of healthcare, aspects that we will explain in detail in the body of this paper. </div>

<center><h2><strong> GENERAL INFORMATION ON BLOCKCHAIN APPLIED TO HEALTHCARE PROCESSES </strong></h2></center>

<div class="text-justify"> Currently, most of the governmental resources are implemented to improve the aspects associated with public health, however, we still observe serious deficiencies in the distribution of medicines and specialized care for each of the patients who request medical attention. In addition, there is a large gap in the storage and processing of data to ensure efficient and timely care.

<div class="text-justify"> Under this problematic, blockchains are presented as an efficient process that can regulate and improve the aspects mentioned above, so that it can provide a timely encryption that allows us to encrypt generalities such as, patient data, clinical condition, the type of drugs consumed, the treating physician, among other aspects of clinical interest, without forgetting the distribution of clinical supplies that reach health centers, as well as the agencies responsible for the distribution of these.

<div class="text-justify"> Among the countries that have believed in this social and technological gear, Estonia stands out, which has been taking advantage of the blockchain since 2012, where all the health data of this country is backed under the blockchain protocols and based on the principles of scalability and immutability of data, where any procedure is linked to cryptographic keys and any movement or transaction that is executed is recorded and validated by the nodes. </div>

<div class="text-justify"> Whereby the Blockchain applied to the healthcare system would generate substantial advantages that we will describe below:
</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify"> 1. Security at the network infrastructure level, allowing to keep protected the collection of data running in each care center.
</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify"> 2. Auditable and transparent processes, which generates greater efficiency in medical care and supply.
</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify"> 3. Generates a large amount of data that allows the research groups to evaluate the different pathologies that appear and that have not been evaluated and treated with the basic requirements for them. (Covid-19 case).
</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify"> 4. Timely data transfer, through the interested parties, this is a relevant aspect, since all the information remains in the network, in this sense, any physician can have access to the patient's information once the patient has approved it.
</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify"> 5. Technological process of remote access, since any information stored in the blockchain network can be transferable and have access to it anywhere and at any time.
</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify"> 6. Route and timely medical supplies, the blockchain allows to record and ensure an adequate pharmaceutical supply according to the deficiencies presented by each health center of a country.
</div>

<div class="text-justify"> 7. Timely and permanent registration of each medicine available to the public, which avoids generating economic losses due to counterfeiting of these medicines through clandestine laboratories.

<div class="text-justify"> As we can see there are great advantages that blockchains provide to the health system, so we can think that under this integration system can achieve an intelligent health process that satisfies patients in a sustainable way and that nurtures each service and device used for health development. Therefore, in order to understand this integration in detail, let us continue with the review of this work.

<center><h2><strong> ADVANCES AND POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD ASSOCIATED WITH THE BLOCKCHAIN WORLD </strong></h2></center>

<div class="text-justify"> In this section of the subject we will focus our attention on some of the technological advances that are being developed in order to integrate the health system to blockchains, among which the following stand out:</div>

<div class="text-justify"> <h3><strong>1. Project Healthchain:</strong></h3></div>

<div class="text-justify"> Healthchain is a global scale company that is based on the use of blockchain and its benefits in health and public care, applies smart contracts in the processing of data to solve problems that affect the distribution of medicines, patient monitoring and health in general.
</div>
<p></p>
<div class="text-justify"> Its technology is associated with the integration of IBM blockchain and is based on the key aspects of IBM Cloud, the fundamental idea of the project is to integrate the medical records of each patient of the different health centers in the country, which allows a proper control of diseases and more in time of the coronavirus. </div>

<p></p>
<div class="text-justify"> ConsenSys is an Ethereum network partner company, developing blockchain use cases to address U.S. healthcare issues through blockchain, with an emphasis on the cost of access to the healthcare system and the management of research and administrative expenses, whereby transferability, security and scalability is a fundamental process behind this great project.

<div class="text-justify"> <h3><strong>3. Project Ariwon:</strong></h3></div>

<div class="text-justify"> This project arises as an alternative to establish clear figures in Peru regarding the presence of Covid-19, it is based on the use of blockchain as a scalable, secure and reliable storage medium, the project is in the form of startup research and development of software with the intention of promoting digital transformation and the development of innovative processes associated with the world of blockchain. In the first phase of the project it is assumed as a permanent registry, which allows to counteract the spread of covid-19 among consumers and employees of the health system.

<div class="text-justify"> <h3><strong>4. Project MiPasa:</strong></h3></div>

<div class="text-justify"> This technological tool arises as a support for financial organizations, but according to its potential, Spain has adopted it as a public health registry mechanism to help store and address key information on research associated with the current pandemic and Covid-19.
</div>

<div class="text-justify"> This project is supported with technology associated with IBM and its blockchain, which allows synthesizing data sources, providing a friendly ecosystem that allows detecting inconsistencies and correcting errors by integrating the sources associated with covid-19.</div>

<div class="text-justify"> As we have been able to address throughout this publication, there are many advantages that the blockchain provides on the health system, benefits ranging from transparency, scalability and data organization, as well as monitoring of each medical input that enters and leaves the different health systems, in addition to providing a timely mechanism for identifying patients and their pathologies that can be verified and verified by the medical actors of a country or organization.

<div class="text-justify"> In this sense, it has been very valuable the type of teaching provided by the professor, as it allows us to expand our knowledge about the world of blockchain and its implications in everyday life and in the health system.
