<p>About 20 years after Kraftwerk’s original version of this quintessential electro-pop hit, the German band Rammstein covered it. Unlike Kraftwerk’s sleek, futuristic synth-pop, Rammstein’s industrial metal rendition is dark and disturbing. &nbsp;</p>

In Kraftwerk’s version, the model’s world is a glamorous one of cool, chic sophistication. But as this video shows, Rammstein’s model moves in a very different world, and probably a more realistic one. &nbsp;&nbsp;         </p>
<p>It shows that the life of a model is not all glitz and glamour. And that, in fact, the model may be stuck in a world of decadence, depravity, and even danger. <h1>Rammstein</h1>
The German band Rammstein has come to exemplify the genre called &nbsp;<em>“Neue Deutsche Härte”</em>&nbsp; music. In fact, the phrase was coined in 1995 to describe the band’s debut album.&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Alt-Aggressive</h2>
Their sound is essentially metal. It has been described as <em>“alternative metal”</em>&nbsp; and <em>“industrial metal.”</em>&nbsp; It's characterized by a heavy foundation of guitar-bass-drums, along with deep, grating vocals, all colored by aggressive synthesizer and electronic sounds. <p></p>
AllMusic’s senior editor Tom Erlewine stated that Rammstein’s music is <em>“staggeringly powerful.”</em></p>

Rammstein began in 1994, and soon won first place in a contest for amateur musicians. <p></p>

When I was young I liked to listen to Rammstein, interesting, heavy music. Their style of music long ago a lot of people use. But in my opinion, not so successfully.

Hello dearest friend @majes.tytyty.

This group caught me from the first time I heard it. In fact, when I met it, i was watching a video of one of its concerts. I think the singer should have knowledge about fire management, it is always present in his performances.

Thanks, I checked out that link. NPR Tiny Desk concerts always have great musicians, some of whom are popular, but many of who are not very popular and even unknown. But all musicians that perform on Tiny Desk are unique, talented, and interesting.
