In this report, I look at the overnight news coming from Apple Inc and HSBC as it pertains to what is happening to the Chinese economy.

Overnight the stock market index futures have dropped and bond yields have also followed as it seems that investors could be starting to worry about the economic impact of what is happening in China.

I also note that the precious metals and gold, in particular, look set to move higher in the medium term.
