The theme of this challenge is Paint the Sky.

I hadn't even read the post yet when I took these pictures yesterday.

The first one is framed by the patio roof line. I kind of like the black framing, but wished I could get the color of the sky to pop more.

I tried to get more sky and less roof and climbed up on a chair. This has a much more open view.

I like the golden hue in this picture.

This is also from the chair without the big tree on the side which seems distracting to me - but I like the sky better in the previous one.

This is the one I am going to enter in the contest. I like the framing with the tree branches in the foreground and the trees on the bottom. 

But what do I know about photography? Not much. That is the truth.

Thank you!! I thought that it made it a bit more interesting. I only have an iPhone to work with but can see how pictures can be made better. Don't know if I am ever ready for a camera where you have too many choices :)
