Is it care,love,passion,respect,obidience,panctuality and perseverance?
what values have we really shown them?
Well these days we spend alot of time making money and the helpers in most cases are the ones that spend quality time with our Children and most of them at the end of the day dont even care what they do,say or how they act infront of our children,but that doesnot matter anyway if the child was raised with good values from the start.
Yes, we should be able to catch them when they fall because that gives them strength to get up again and learn something out of it.
We shouldnt fear or play the blame game on them when they make mistakes or when they get hurt because through that they learn the right way and find strength or even be over protective but we should be able to encourage and guide them through the right path.
Literally its more tough these days to bring up children because they grow up sorrounded by many other things around them like friends,neighbours,relatives,smartphones,televisions and other more.
so they get all kinds of behaviour,thoughts and acts from different characters and many other things but despite all that if as we parents tought our children the right way.They will never forget them.
Remember it starts from childhood.
Our children love us when we are so loving and when we are friendly to them but once in awhile we shouldnt forget to be tough for sometimes when we are too loving they tend to forget some values that we taught them,so the toughness is sort of a reminder..
Let us not be so tough though that it creates fear for us within them.our children should be our close friends so that they should be able to trust us and that too will strength our bond with them.
Let us treat them how we want them to treat their children And teach them values that will go on and on.
Nomatter how we want to hide them in the shell or put them under the umbrella when storms arise,we shouldnt forget to groom them into responsible children with the attitude of "i can pick my self up when tough times arise"when its time for them to live their own lives or forget to show them the bitter truth about life.
The value of relationships and family time.
Our dot.com chidren grow up not knowing their roots or even their mother language.
Not knowing their aunties,cousins and uncles because we think it nologer matters but it really does at some point in life.
Knowing them helps them to bond more and strengthen their relationship with them.
Remember how they grow up looking at you the parents behave or act, is the same way they will turn out.
Hence let us be what we want our children to be like when they are parents too and treat them how we would wish them to treat their children.
But most importantly let us teach them how to respect others however small or big and how to be grateful for everything.
Magic words that we should never forget to teach them:"I AM SORRY" and "THANK YOU".
With these,they will always find their way through.
Our children define us.
Let us show them the true and right way.
