<p>Legends always interest me, strange enough, it always seems that Japanese legends are the scariest, weirdest and makes your hair stand up. Heres an infamous legend that will give you the jeepers. This particular one happens to well known throughout China and Korea. In fact couple of years, ago (2004) schools in South Korea were told to escort kids from their schools and police were actually on petrol being afraid of a spirit "Kychisake-onna ". It is said to be over 800 years ago According to legend "Kychisake" was a very beautiful woman, who was married to a samurai unfaithful. When her husband had found out about disloyal and treacherous acts, he had tied her up and in his rage, he took a sharp object and slit it through her face for a permanent smile, I suppose she never really smiled at him. He then told her "who will think you are beautiful now?" he then killed her and himself. Some believed that her spirit now kills people. From far she appears to be this gorgeous woman in a coat with beautiful hair however her face is always covered by a scarf, fan or even a mask. She lurks in the shadows and asks her victims " do you think I'm pretty ?" , if people said no she kill them and if they said yes then she would reveal her scary face and kill them. Some say that there were sightings of her in 1970, 1979,2000,2004 and 2007. This mythology is one which that are really nightmarish and spine-chilling. </p>
