In chess, it's all about protecting your pieces while trying to find vulnerabilities in your opponent's defenses so you can win material. Some times, you have all your pieces well protected while attacking but, if you opponent finds out where to strike so your protection falls apart, then you are in trouble. I'm pretty sure this puzzle means to show us how to spot those vulnerabilites.
