A team of researchers from the US and South Korea, has developed a device capable of adapting to the march of its owner, carrying this exoskeleton, would be equivalent to carrying up to 7 kg less weight.

The exosuit, which weighs about 5 kilograms and is able to adapt to the user's progress to provide adequate assistance, both when walking and running.

The cables of this gadget are placed around the hip and act as an extra collection of artificial muscles, capable of producing a small portion of the torsion that the extensor muscles would produce.

According to the same researchers, the technology that allows anchoring the exoskeleton to the body and tells it how to act and adapt to the user's pace, could also be used for clinical purposes.

In fact, they are developing other projects for the rehabilitation of stroke patients, as well as devices that support the back during arduous tasks.
