Cryptocurrency deserves to be crashing

I am a big fan of crypto but the recent BCH hard fork got me thinking. Rather then facing the problems head on major shareholders of BCH is again kicking the can down the road with a fork.

I first started interest in crypto right before bitcoin made a hard fork that created BCH. The major concerns with BTC back then is reminiscent of what BCH is having now. There is a feud between the developers of BCH in divided belief of what is best for the crypto. An upgrade was to be performed but not all supported it. The end result come tomorrow, Nov. 15 2018, is a fork of BCH. My initial reaction without being tech savvy but entrench in crypto investments is disappointment.

The basic foundation of crypto is to be decentralized but developers and people who have the power to control cryptos are trying to maintain control of the crypto while diluting shareholders value. This is the opposite of decentralized.

Instead it is one big scam for all to play. How on earth will there be full support in a coin if there are to become a million versions of itself? Just because people can not come together in support of the bigger picture makes it difficult for the community as a whole to support it. Each fork is one more divide in the community. Although this is a free market the intentions of hard fork seemingly is to reduce value in crypto, not add value.

The more support a coin has the more usage and growth in intrinsic value. There lies the problem. We have coins that continue to shrink in support do to personal beliefs and the current market cap drop in crypto is proof.

I am betting the recent price decline is due to the lessen support of crypto as a whole. There is not much more to say then that this BCH hard fork is making investors believe there will be more uncertainty in the days ahead! How many times can a coin be divided until the support base diminishes to zero?

Hard forks are becoming more of a division rather than collaboration. The current BCH hard fork really boils down to a battle to see who comes out on top with total control. This is something inherently different from the original creation of BTC.

Pains me to say but I hope crypto prices continue to fall to the point where people who want control will stop these kind of feuds and join together to make something better. I know wishful thinking.
