Timing is everything! What is the best time to post on Steemit? The whole world is your playground!!

# Who hasn’t been wondering about the best time for posting their articles?

Most of us are living in different time zones but we are writing for an audience spread out over the whole world. Should we submit our posts in the morning, afternoon or better late at night?

### That is the big question we all would like to have answered.
</b>
For some of us, who like me write in two or maybe even more languages it might be a crucial thing to figure out. If I write in German most of my readers are about 8 hours behind, since I’m living in Japan. Every post send in the morning will show up in Germany in the middle of the night and most likely gets lost somewhere in the news-feed-nirwana.

If I write in English I need to consider having followers all over the planet, but the biggest market America is about 12 hours behind.

That’s why most of the time I’m waiting till it is around midnight here in Japan before pushing the send button and I hope to reach the biggest audience as possible. Then it will be late afternoon in Germany and Middle Europe and late morning on the east coast of America.

#### I’m not sure at all, whether this is the best time though. But somehow I hope to cover all timezones.

Sometimes on weekends and even on Fridays I get way less feedback than on any other days. Not sure if this is just a subjective feeling, I need more time to really confirm it.

### What are your opinions and experiences about that?
### Which weekdays and what time of the day you are feeling is the best for your posts? 
### The best time to get comments and views, and eventually the most upvotes and the highest reward.

Of course you may think this isn’t important at all and you prefer to submit articles every time you feel like, but wouldn’t it be nice to have some kind of smart strategy?

Myself I prefer the evening to comment on other user’s articles, but reading and upvoting I will do much earlier. But to respond to all those interesting topics I usually lack time during the day. 

Everybody has a different rhythm and if we could generally analyze, we might even be able to set up different topics at different times of the day, to achieve the highest possible level of attention.

many people use bots, like steemvoter to upvote their friends etc to get highest possible curation rewards, so strategy based on the statistics may be biased

Great question! I am posting with both readers in USA and readers in Japan in mind. So I basically only post at night and in the morning, which conveniently enough is morning and night in the USA. I don't knwo if that is the best way, but I figure it is covering the only two times over overlap between the two countries so if I want to hit both I have no choice.  

I'm thinking about finding a service to schedule posts, but I don't know yet.

Yeah, Europe. If we want to catch the English speaking world, we also need to consider south africa (what time zone are they?), singapore, and Oz/NZ. I think no matter what we do, we miss some people. SO we just have to pick and choose. I do wish we had access to more detailed stats here. For example, with my posts, who looks at my photos more? My haiku more? If I knew that info, I might target each post more for that country.

Im in the Philippines and im about the same time as Japan so I tend to post around 10pm to 2am. I think that is the best time to reach the English speaking audience.

Even @allmonitors think the same way. I had recently asked his advice of when to post and he said 10pm-4am. He sets alarms to post then go back to sleep again. All his post is ready so he just press the post button

As I am in the US I just post when convenient for me...if it is too difficult (like staying up until midnight),then it will probably prevent me from daily posts.  I think consistency is more the key, so the time I post and built an audience on is 4-6 am EST.

I work it for my schedule, not others... to insure more consistency.

Thank you for leaving a comment. I have been thinking  that consistency might be the best to be to build up an audience, but somehow less people are seeing my posts if I don't use boosters. 

And as I  wrote I live in Japan so I need to somehow adjust to other countries timezones

Wuerde ich auch gerne wissen. Ich habe in zuefaelligen Uhrzeiten gepostet und habe eher festgestellt das es einfach darauf ankommt das in den ersten Minuten der Post von einem delfin bemerkt wird, dann rutscht man in der kategorie nach oben und wird von mehr leuten bemerkt. Ansonsten sinkt man ab. Steemit is ganz aders als facebook, twitter etc. Es ist wohl schwieriger gesehen zu werden aber dafuer ist es viel fairer insgesamt. Steemit macht genau das was die blockchain vorschreibt und das ist echt gut so.

Ein tipp - 30% der Steemians sind in den USA. 
Wuerde die ein Link zur Statistik schicken, aber fuechte ich finds nicht mehr.

 Danke für deinen Kommentar. 


 Hi kann mir schon vorstellen dass die meisten User in den USA setzen. Deshalb schicke ich ja meinen Beitrag meistens so ab, dass ich wenigstens die Ostküste von Amerika abdecken. 

 Und mit dem gesehen werden hast du total recht. Gerade bei meinen letzten Beiträgen habe ich gemerkt, dass sie zum Anfang gar keine Views habe, und deshalb benutze ich manchmal einen Booster, so gibt es wenigstens etwas Aufmerksamkeit. 

Aber in Neuseeland bist du ja fast in der gleichen Zeitzone wie ich. Da haben wir ein ähnliches Problem
