<center>today I'm going to show you one of the more recent art I did which is like from a month ago? For a contest that I kinda had some bitter expirience to? I mean I don't expirience it directly but now I feel very suspicious for the host of the contest.
But first lets go with something positive first! Before we go deep into my ranting territory hahah XD if you want to skip the process for the juicy story then you are welcome!
But first we have to get some context on why the image is like this
Because there are RULES!
And one of the most important rule of it is only choose 3 colors
Basically you have to choose 2 colors out of this pallete

And you have to use WHITE
So basically its only 2 colors lmao.
I'll explore on that topic later because it is connected with my rant.

But then I changed my mind and wanted this as the final image as it makes more relatable and human? Ofcourse I didn't want to make it too overcrowded! So gotta find the balance!

Now, I didn't really finish the line art first, because I am still like, trying to make the picture more good and nicer, I have to figure out what the colors go where. Etc. Because it is very limited and I have to get creative with it.

And I'm glad I manage to pull it off, even though this contest grinds my gears, I atleast made something I am proud of with limited colors.

Hurray! We did it! We made something cool! I'm pretty proud of this one, the colors, the composition, and even the idea itself, I truly think I outdid myself with this :)

# My expirience with Chatime Indo contest RANT

I didn't really care if I don't win or not, sure there are prizes, and I was determined to be number one but really as long as people meet me or come and say hi, but the host of the contest was a company named Chattime Indonesia and I was like "oooh" some big people are gonna judge the contest.
There are some rules
1 of the most important ones are
HAVE ONLY MAXIMUM OF 3 COLORS, but then you also have to ONLY use white
So in reality it was 2 colors. Okay then these contest rules are confusing but okay. I'll let that slide (they could have said you can only chose 2 colors and use white but noo, Chatime Indonesia is weird lmao)
One thing there is that I don't see them answering any questions
They were hosting on this site
https://cupdesign.chatime.co.id/ I mean there isn't any comment section or any QnA section anywhere and they are unresponsive in their instagram.
So finally I entered it with this.
Nobody new like.. Discover about my art through to be honest, but I didn't care either, cuz I saw some good artist too. Which is okay.
Finally announcement came for the 5 winners, I saw the post and now maybe I just have a different taste in art, but the 1st and 2nd drawing is not that good? Comparing to other entries that I saw, that is wayy much better at drawing, maybe I just really hate cartoony and stylized works, more than dynamic and fun styles. But I guess that's just my opinion. Not that it has anything to do with the rant, but I just wanna say that. Continuing on..
And yknow what the 2nd winner is?
Remember that rule that only has 3 colors? Well guess what?!

It has MORE THAN 3 COLORS! Disclaimer! I don't have a problem with the entry, or who ever won, I have the problem with the host and they are contradiction with the rules.
Whut the hell mdudeee?? I don't know if this is a genuine mistake but it's kinda like an important rule.
It only took some people to call them out if you can understand Indonesia you'd understand it, I don't know if this is like.. What's that word called? Ah yes damage control.
And chatime apoligized (on the same post) to that mistake. Good on you! Hurray! I'll give them for responding to criticism.
And posted the real winner on a "story" now for those of you who doesnt know waht a story feature on insta
You upload picture, and the picture gets removed on your profile in 24 hours.

So basically you can post the wrong winner, Can't you post it again?? Because the real winners art got deleted in 24 hours. So the people who wants to know the 2nd winner can see it from the future. Hello? Chatime indonesia? Have you considered that?
By the way, I didn't see the second winner so okay? Now I don't even know that they even post the real winner LOL wtf? They could've actually like I dunno, be fine if they actually by making a normal post. But nope gotta post the winner in a story instagram that will be removed in 24 hours.
If anything, it could only make the impression that you were hiding something.
_Sigh_, I don't know how to feel about this anymore. I don't trust this "chatime" anymore, the possibility that the contest be rigged is there, and they accidentally slipped up with one of the guys who drew drew it with more than 3 colors and got caught in the end. Or they genuinely mistaken the winners.
At the end of the day I probably won't be in their contest anymore. After all that hardwork :/
And I don't know about this, I am just nitpicking with the 1st and 3rd winners that the logo of chatime has the green color which mean they used more than 3 colors, but that's the logo of chatime, and their rules are super confusing so I'll let these 2 slide.
I could criticise them and tell them, but I don't think they would even listen to me for what I say. And sure they apoligized for that mistake they did but even that it took multiple people calling them out to respond, what's one lil old me gonna do?
_Lesson learned: don't always trust a contest, and for the contest hosters who are reading this, don't do what the host of the contest did and don't make your rules confusing as possible._
_And if someone asked something about your rules, answer it and edit the rules, communication is always the key! I know you can do it contest hosters of steemit :) I hope anyone can learn from this._
And that's all I have to say for today folks, whew what a long rant
I hope atleast some of you becareful of some rigged contests, I am bitter when things are unfair. Haha.
Though if I said or present something wrong please tell me so with proof etc. I might have done a mistake and that's okay. We all do but don't try to ignore it or hide things with it.
Sorry for the more rant-ish topic, but I never really told anyone about this because I just don't want to deal with bullcrud haha ^~^
