*In as much as clothing has definitely become a basic necessity in human dealings, the ghanaians cannot go a day without Kente cloth.It is a cloth which is usually woven from silk and cotton and was originally held in such high esteem that only nobility and royalty would wear it.It comes with different patterns which all have different meanings.*

#### The oldest European castle built in Sub-Saharan Africa is in Ghana?
*The Elmina castle is surely the oldest built construction in sub-saharan Africa by the Portuguese in 1482.The castle was used to store slaves before they were shipped to America.*

*When the country achieved independence in 1957, it took its new name from The Ghana Empire. The word Ghana roughly translates into English as Warrior King*

#### Fufu is the greatest and most eaten food ever invented by the Ashantis in Ghana?
*The combination of plantain/cocoyam and cassava, pounded and mixed together and  then eaten with soup(fufu) is still the most eaten food in Ghana which is invented by the Ashantis.It is even presumed to be mandatory for every Ashanti King to eat fufu daily..Others believe it makes them wiser..No wonder it is the locally made food which is so expensive.lol*
