**Let me first express so much excitement in promoting steemit here in ghana and beyond. This is one of the best things that has ever happened to me since my existence on the steem blockchain. It simply feels good to be known by many people and government officials in the name of steemit. This has been possible due to the numerous exercises and activities that l have made to ensure the lives of people change with steem. Everyone deserves happiness. Sometimes the promo work becomes so difficult especially when there are underlying conditions that make it extremely difficult to be done. I always will say this, wearing a steemit t-shirt is the best promotion that anyone could do. And so l enjoy being in my steem shirt each day but once you do so, be prepared to answer the many questions that people you meet will possibly ask. I want to share one of my experiences here on the steem blockchain. There are many amazing benefits and experiences steemit has given to improve my life.**

This may be similar to the best ideas that you have to make things work for you. It is about the joy that l have developed in doing promotions. This happened in the Ashanti region of ghana when @nattybongo discussed with me to help him carry out a project in a small town in Kumasi. The community is a fast-growing one with few people but full of old people. The basic aim was to organize a free eye screening and provide them with materials that will enable those identified ones with eye problems to be offered help. But in disguise, we wanted to have this done to have the opportunity to share more with people.

     On arrival

Arrangements were made to get us here in the afternoon when many people are done with catching the holy spirit from their various churches. Atwereso is a small community we visited for this to be done. As implied here in Ghana, telephone calls were made weeks before this day to the elders and opinion leaders of this community to announce our mission on that day. The reception given by the leaders of the community was superb since this was not going to demand any money from them. Poverty has seriously engulfed many people here that they cannot simply afford basic health facilities.

And so it is such a big opportunity for our communities to assist them with the many good deeds that steemit has to share with the world. Fortunately, the various churches in this community made announcements to all members for the good news heard. However, two other health personnel got involved from the workplace of @nattybongo to assist us in this activity. All this while, even the co-workers of @nattybongo never knew the brain behind this whole project. It was something that we planned to offer people that struggle with some basics in life. There are several others who struggle to get a daily meal. And this is what we aim to achieve after all the great things steemit seeks to achieve. Making impacts on this blockchain was our ultimate.

     Taking people through eye screening

The very small amount of money we both raised, with the support of @ackza @nanzo-scoop and @surfyogi @demotruk and other steemians who saw our good deeds arranged for a lot of materials including glass lens that was going to be giving to the old men and women who may have some sort of visual impairment but couldn't afford to get themselves the needed care. At the start of the exercise, many people who successfully went through the screening got others from the neighboring towns informed to take part in the free eye screening that was ongoing.

One sure thing that makes me proud always as a promoter of steemit is the many "God bless you" that the people from the community gave us that day. It was really exciting and all we could see that day was a smile all over the faces of the people. Leaders of the town commended us for the gesture we showed the community that day. In fact, we wished we had made this a monthly exercise for the community but it's really challenging in doing this. 
Promoting steemit in this form takes a lot of hard work and sacrifices. But it really does something great to the people especially if you are so much concerned with making imparts in their lives with steemit.

Among all the benefits that my stay on steemit has offered is what l share in this writeup today. The numerous activities that have been carried out in ghana with steemit over the few months and years have added to my name a great image. It has also introduced me to many great men and people evening the government. It is a big experience that has been gathered here for the little things that have happened which many have felt.

*I believe society expects nothing better than doing this. The people we live with do not ask us to buy houses and cars. Some of these old people need us in society to help them go through daily life activities. And this is where steemit has in various ways supported society. It is never going to be our own work if not for steemit. It is amazing to hear the name of steemit mentioned at churches in a community it has supported people. We have many more to share to tell the world about steemit. I feel over-excited whenever l meet someone who calls me somewhere just because of something that steemit done for their community.
