Thanks for posting, Drutter. I think this is one of the best videos you've done. It's too bad it's about such horrible news. There's a show called "Raising Hope" that did a parody/satire of the Dairy Consortium. But the show isn't popular enough to find the clips on youtube, and it's not on Netflix anymore to take any screenshots.


One of the only good things society has to offer is the ability to do things a certain beneficial way that we can't do living on homesteads or in tribes, like the ability to eat foods from anywhere in the world at any time of the year, therefore veganism. But we don't do this, and instead of use our globalism for efficiency we do horrible things like shipping factory-farmed chickens to China to be processed and shipped back to be sold for dollars per corpse.


You make a really good point: whether you're vegan or not, you should be outraged at the waste! People don't realize how much crops have to be grown to feed those massive beasts and how much land they occupy and waste they produce. So many litres of water alone spent on watering crops to feed cattle and for them to drink. Everything is carefully compartmentalized away and justified with mantras like this is: normal, necessary, the way it's always been done, what they're for, etc.


Most people (anybody who is slighlt awake) are bumbling around trying to figure out what's wrong with the world and they're waiting to be saved. Nobody is looking at themselves as cogs in the machine with power to change and help others to follow suit.


The oppression that's being inflicted on us funnels down...it's a chain of abuse. How we treat animals is an exact representation of how "they", the elite, the 1%, etc. see us. It's all the same: the way nazis see jews, how zionists see goya, how religious fundamentalists treat women, how we treat animals, and how we justify needlessly harming anybody who isn't our own. We can't admit that while we're addicted to cheese though, so let's get unaddicted!
